Ghostie is Briz's original reimagining of a legendary horror icon, combining slasher horror with playful cartoon nostalgia in a way that had never been seen before. Over the years, this design has taken on a life of its own across social media, becoming one of Briz's most recognized creations and unfortunately one of the most imitated designs as well.

The concept was deceptively simple: what if a terrifying horror villain was transformed into a whimsical cartoon ghost?

The result became Ghostie—a character that balances spooky and adorable, creepy and playful, horror and nostalgia.

At the center of the artwork floats a stylized ghost version of the iconic masked character. Instead of a traditional human body, Ghostie features a flowing cartoon ghost form constructed from elegant drape-like linework. Layers of black create depth and dimension while vibrant purple highlights accentuate the folds and movement of the ghostly figure.

The mask itself receives a complete psychedelic makeover. Rather than traditional monochromatic tones, the face is rendered in vibrant yellows, oranges, and pinks, with rich purple shading throughout. Hidden within the eye openings are Briz's signature black-and-white spiral eyes, distorted and stretched to conform to the shape of the mask itself, creating a uniquely hypnotic effect.

In one hand, Ghostie holds a retro-inspired blocky phone reminiscent of classic 80s and 90s designs. The phone is decorated with signature black-and-white stripes and features psychedelic drips oozing from the mouthpiece. Hidden within the phone's buttons is another fun Easter egg—the name Brizbazaar integrated directly into the design.
