Inspired by the infamous evil leprechaun from the cult horror film Leprechaun, this artwork takes the character in an entirely new direction by blending horror nostalgia, psychedelic visuals, and cannabis culture into a vibrant St. Patrick's Day-inspired creation.
Released in 2022 as a special St. Patrick's Day design, Leprezaar quickly became a fan favorite for collectors who appreciate horror, humor, and a healthy dose of psychedelic weirdness.
At the center of the composition is Leprezaar himself, sporting a wildly expressive face rendered in Briz's signature sunset-inspired color palette. One of the artwork's most distinctive features is Leprezaar's beard. 🎨 NOTES
Leprezaar was one of those designs where I wanted to take a familiar horror character and push the concept as far as possible into the psychedelic world. The cannabis-leaf beard became the centerpiece of the design almost immediately, and from there the mushrooms, drips, spirals, and doodles naturally followed.
Creating a St. Patrick's Day release that felt both humorous and unmistakably Brizbazaar made this one of the most enjoyable character designs I've ever created.
