Dark, mysterious, and unapologetically unique, Brizzday Addamz is a psychedelic reinterpretation inspired by one of modern pop culture's most recognizable gothic icons.
Created as part of a companion design set alongside Zhing, Brizzday blends gothic aesthetics, signature Brizbazaar visual elements, and playful hidden details into a striking character portrait that celebrates individuality and outsider energy.
At the center of the artwork stands Brizzday, recognizable by her iconic pigtail braids and blunt bangs. Reimagined through Briz's signature artistic styling, the hair is constructed using flowing linework that creates texture, movement, and depth throughout the composition.
The design incorporates visual references to the academy uniform, including the classic collar and tie. However, rather than utilizing a traditional plain white collar, Brizzday transforms it into a colorful stained-glass interpretation inspired by the famous dorm room window. Hidden within the stained-glass pattern is the name Brizbazaar, carefully blended into the design as a subtle artistic Easter egg.
Adding another signature Briz touch, vibrant neon drips flow downward from the bottom of the uniform, creating movement while contrasting beautifully against the darker gothic aesthetic of the character.
The eyes feature one of the most recognizable recurring elements throughout the Brizbazaar universe—hypnotic black-and-white spiral eyes. These spirals create an immediate focal point while reinforcing the psychedelic nature of the artwork.
The result is a playful fusion of gothic style, modern pop culture inspiration, and psychedelic visual storytelling.

🎨 ARTIST NOTE
Brizzday was an opportunity to combine gothic aesthetics with many of the signature elements that define my artwork. I wanted to preserve the character's recognizable silhouette while transforming the details into something uniquely Brizbazaar. The stained-glass collar became one of my favorite parts of the design, especially with the hidden Brizbazaar branding woven directly into the pattern.
The result is a character that feels familiar while still existing fully within my own artistic universe.
