Part of Briz's first official Halloween Collection released in 2021, BeetleJack reimagines Jack Skellington in a completely new role—channeling the mischievous spirit of Beetlejuice and taking over Oogie Boogie's lair. The result is a vibrant character mashup packed with storytelling, hidden details, and neon visual energy.
At the center of the artwork stands Jack, dressed as Beetlejuice during one of the most memorable scenes from the film—the iconic carousel transformation complete with flashing lights and exaggerated carnival styling. Rather than simply wearing Beetlejuice's famous striped suit, Jack fully embraces the role, creating a larger-than-life spectacle that dominates the composition.
The artwork is filled with narrative details that help tell the story. Oogie Boogie's game board and dice are incorporated into the scene, symbolizing Jack's takeover of Oogie's domain. Meanwhile, the infamous sandworm weaves throughout the composition, wrapping around Jack and ultimately capturing Oogie himself. Dangling helplessly from the carousel hat, Oogie becomes the victim of the very type of game he once controlled.
Adding heart to the chaos is Jack's loyal ghost dog, Zero, positioned opposite Oogie on the carousel structure and watching the bizarre events unfold.
